The stack that shoots you to the next orbit of venture building.
StackX is a venture studio, not a checkbook. When we back a business, we send co-founders and operators who move in and build alongside you. Funding is just one part of the stack. Applications are open now across six categories.
Applications open
Currently open in six categories.
Shortlisted founders meet our team, online or in person, before we move forward together.
How it works
Four steps from idea to backed company.
From application to co-building, here's what happens next.
Apply
Pick one of the six open categories and tell us the idea, the stage, and your story.
Get shortlisted
We review every application and shortlist the ideas we want to build with.
Meet the team
Shortlisted founders meet StackX online or in person. We figure out if we're the right build partner, together.
Build together
The founders we back get co-founders and operators embedded from day one, plus capital. Not just a wire transfer and a Slack invite.

Who we back
Wherever you are, there's a version of the stack for you.
Idea, prototype, or early traction — we meet you at your stage.
The idea-stage founder
You have conviction and a wedge, not yet a product. We help you find the shape of the company before you spend two years finding it alone.
The builder with a prototype
Something exists. You need capital, sharper positioning, and people who've shipped this category before to compress the next 12 months.
The founder with early traction
Numbers are moving. You need a stack that can keep up: distribution, hiring, and investors who add more than a signature.

FAQ
Good questions.
The things founders ask us most before applying.
What does StackX actually invest?
Co-founders and operators, first. We move people into the company to help build it. Capital is part of the stack, not the headline. Most studios write a check and step back; we do the opposite. When we back a business, someone from our team is embedded in the day-to-day, shipping product, closing early customers, hiring the first few people, alongside the founder, not just advising from a board seat. The check still matters, and we deploy pre-seed capital fast once conviction is real, but it's sized as one layer of a much bigger stack: distribution, operators who've built in your category before, and a network that opens doors a wire transfer never could.
Which categories are open?
Applications are open in six categories: Pet Care, Food & Beverages, Personal Care, Consumer Electronics, Board Games & Toys, and Sports. We chose these six deliberately. They're categories where a small, obsessive team with the right operators can out-execute incumbents, and where our existing network already has manufacturing, distribution, and retail relationships worth handing over on day one. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis as they come in, so there's no benefit to waiting until a deadline. Earlier, well-prepared applications get looked at sooner.
What does registering commit me to?
Nothing. Registering opens your profile and journey feed to our review team. You control what you post, and you can walk away at any point. There's no exclusivity clause, no fee, and no obligation to accept whatever we offer if we do reach out. Plenty of founders use the application process itself as a forcing function to get their story and numbers in order, whether or not it leads anywhere with us. If you decide StackX isn't the right fit, or you find funding elsewhere, you can simply stop updating your journey feed; nothing carries forward automatically.
Who reviews applications?
A small working group of operators and investors inside StackX, the same people you'd actually work with if we back you. That's intentional: we've seen too many founders get evaluated by an analyst they never hear from again, then handed off to a completely different team post-investment. Here, the person reading your application, the person who might join your cap table, and the person who shows up to help you hire your first engineer are the same small group of people, so there's no translation loss between who decided to back you and who actually builds with you.
Is my data and video pitch private?
Your application and journey are visible only to the StackX review team. It's never public by default. Nothing you submit is indexed, shared externally, or shown to anyone outside that team. Your video pitch, financials, and journey updates stay behind a login the whole time.
